# Service bulletin SSM 50967

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

## NHTSA's summary

Some 2020\-2022 Aviator vehicles may exhibit a door ajar or door fault warning message present in the message center with diagnostic trouble codes \(DTCs\) B1175:19, B1176:19, B11C0:19 and/or B11C1:19 present in door latch control module E \(DCME\), door latch control module F \(DCMF\), door latch control module G \(DCMG\) and/or door latch control module H \(DCMH\). This may be due to low battery voltage and DTC thresholds being too low and not a fault in the door latch assembly. To correct the condition, reprogram and re\-configure the the affected module using the latest level of the Ford Diagnosis and Repair System \(FDRS\). For claiming use causal part 54264A27 and applicable labor times found in Section 10 of the Service Labor Time Standards \(SLTS\) Manual.
