A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

- 2018 GMC SIERRA 1500

## Other bulletins for the same vehicles and component

- [PIP5628F](/bulletins/10236164.md), 2023-05-15, Service bulletin: ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING:ENGINE:ENGINE CONTROL MODULE \(ECU/ECM\). This Preliminary information communicates information that will need to be provided to TAC to aid in diagnosing if a vehicle comes in with misfire and DTC Codes P0300 \- P0308 and/or P050D
- [21NA113](/bulletins/10214207.md), 2022-06-21, Service bulletin: ELECTRICAL SYSTEM; ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING:ENGINE:GASOLINE:TURBO/SUPERCHARGER; ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING:ENGINE:ENGINE CONTROL MODULE \(ECU/ECM\):SOFTWARE. This technical bulletin provides a procedure to perform a learn procedure for the turbo actuator.
- [N182179090](/bulletins/10212574.md), 2022-05-31, Service bulletin: FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE; FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE:FUEL INJECTION SYSTEM:INJECTORS; ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING:ENGINE:ENGINE CONTROL MODULE \(ECU/ECM\). Service Update. Certain vehicles may have one or multiple DTCs that are incorrectly illuminating the service engine soon \(SES\) light. Hardware including fuel injectors and exhaust gas recirculation \(EGR\) valves may have been used to fix this issue, however, the condition could return after these repairs were made. There is no effect for vehicle performance.
- [20NA197](/bulletins/10212562.md), 2022-05-31, Service bulletin: ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING:ENGINE:ENGINE CONTROL MODULE \(ECU/ECM\); BACK OVER PREVENTION; SERVICE BRAKES, HYDRAULIC. This technical bulletin provides a procedure to inspect and repair the fuel pressure sensor if found the cause of the customers concern.
- [17337\-17419](/bulletins/10191056.md), 2021-04-29, Service bulletin: ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING:ENGINE:ENGINE CONTROL MODULE \(ECU/ECM\); POWER TRAIN:AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION:CONTROL MODULE \(TCM/PCM/TECM\). General Motors released Emission Recall 17337 and Service Update 17419 on November 1, 2017. After their release, a change occurred in Tis2Web that affects the involved 2018 model year Chevrolet Silverado HD and GMC Sierra HD vehicles. This change prevents programming of the engine control module \(ECM\) and transmission control module \(TCM\) separately. Tis2Web now requires the ECM and TCM in these full\-size trucks to be programmed sequentially. Consequently, dealers are confused and asking for guidance relative to labor code submission requirements. Again, the Tis2Web change only affects the involved 2018 model year Chevrolet Silverado HD and GMC Sierra HD vehicles
- [17337](/bulletins/10191039.md), 2021-04-29, Service bulletin: POWER TRAIN:AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION:CONTROL MODULE \(TCM/PCM/TECM\); ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING:ENGINE:ENGINE CONTROL MODULE \(ECU/ECM\). General Motors has decided to conduct a Voluntary Emission Recall involving certain 2016 model year Chevrolet Colorado, GMC Canyon; 2017 model year Chevrolet Express, GMC Savana; 2017\-2018 model year Chevrolet Colorado, Cruze, Silverado HD, GMC Canyon, Sierra HD and 2018 model year Chevrolet Equinox, GMC Terrain vehicles, equipped with a diesel engine. The engine control module in these vehicles may not properly diagnose a fault in the exhaust particulate matter sensor. Additionally, a subset of these vehicles, certain 2017 model year Chevrolet Silverado HD and GM Sierra HD vehicles, may in rare instances exhibit a condition in which the engine surges up to 2,800 RPM during vehicle coast or vehicle braking. Correction Program the engine control module, and transmission control module when applicable.
- [21NA010](/bulletins/10187773.md), 2021-03-01, Service bulletin: EQUIPMENT:OTHER:OWNERS/SERVICE/OTHER MANUAL; ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING:ENGINE:ENGINE CONTROL MODULE \(ECU/ECM\); ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:SOFTWARE. This technical bulletin provides a procedure to reset the DTCs and take the vehicle for a test drive to verify the codes do not return.
