Service bulletin TSB 22-2215
A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

NHTSA's summary
Some 2021-2022 Bronco vehicles equipped with base exterior mirrors (does not have integrated puddle lamps and/or turn signal lamps) may have a whistle noise that originates from the left exterior mirror. This may be due to the design of the exterior mirror cover. To correct this condition, follow the Service Procedure to replace both the left and right exterior mirror covers.

| SSM 51533 | 2023-05-04. Service bulletin. Some 2021-2023 Bronco vehicles may exhibit a diagnostic trouble code (DTC) B15F1:15 code stored in memory of the passenger door module (PDM). This code was intended for a right mirror indicator light emitting diode (LED) feature on vehicles and currently is not used. This code may be due to PDM module software. If the PDM module exhibits DTC B15F1:15, the DTC should be ignored. |

Inform customers that they can continue to drive the vehicle and engineering is currently working on a solution for this condition that is expected in October 2021. Monitor OASIS for additional information and schedule service appointments for customers once the repair becomes available. |
