Service bulletin B122117
A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

Depending on the severity of this situation, the malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) can be illuminated and the following fault code may be set: In some circumstances, if the vehicle is switched into a drive gear (R or D) when the RPM are low, the engine may switch off. Should this occur, the engine may be restarted normally. Software error in the DME.
