A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

The customer may describe the following:Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) warnings for the FCW informing the driver to apply the brakes. Software Enhancement (06/02/2020)? Allows customers to turn off the FCW indefinitely, rather than resetting to ?ON? at each key cycle, (Japan and South Korea only). This is an incremental change, which builds upon the 11/22/2019 changes for the symptom described below. The (11/22/2019) release provided limited system improvements to enhance the FCW system hazard detection which may reduce nuisance actions and warnings from incorrectly identified structures and hazards, which can in rare circumstances cause an unwarranted brake event.
