# Service bulletin SSM 50651

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

- Published by NHTSA: 2022\-05\-04
- Manufacturer's number: SSM 50651

## NHTSA's summary

In various 2017\-2022 Ford and Lincoln vehicles, customers may receive a message in the FordPass or LincolnWay App stating "Feature Unavailable. Since this is a fleet vehicle, it cannot access the \(SYNC Connect\) FordPass or LincolnWay app through the TCU Embedded Modem. If this message appears, the vehicle may be equipped with a fleet telematics module. Replacement of the TCU or TCU related repairs will not prevent this message from appearing. Please refer the customer to in app FordPass Guides or LincolnWay Concierge Teams to aid with fleet telematics removal. Open app, select Account \> Help \> CHAT or CALL option

## Other bulletins for the same vehicles and component

- [TSB 24\-2126](/bulletins/10254176.md), 2024-05-04, Service bulletin: EQUIPMENT. This article supersedes TSB 24\-2093 to address the revised software and include affected 3.5L FHEV vehicles. Some 2021\-2023 F\-150 vehicles equipped with a gasoline, hybrid or flex fuel engine \(non\-Lightning\) except 2023 F\-150 with 3.3L may exhibit inoperative A/C, lack of air flow, blows warm, and/or evidence of the evaporator freezing. This may be due to the software level of the PCM and heating, ventilation and air conditioning \(HVAC\) module.
- [SSM 52476](/bulletins/10254138.md), 2024-05-03, Service bulletin: EQUIPMENT. All accessory stick\-on keyless entry keypads come with a wallet card containing the master code. If the accessory keypad was factory installed, this card will be placed in the glove box and should be handed to the vehicles owner during initial delivery. Unlike the integrated \(wired\) factory keypad, the accessory keypad master code cannot be retrieved from the vehicle using a diagnostic scan tool. If the wallet card for an accessory keypad is lost, follow these steps to recover the code. Dealer Key Code access is granted through the Dealer Program Enrollment System \(DPES\); dealership management can authorize users. The authorized user must go to FMCDealer.com \> Parts and Service \> Parts Product Line Information \> Keys/Entry Devices \> Aftermarket Keyless Entry Keypad Code Access. Follow the instructions on the screen to obtain the master code for the accessory keypad.
- [22M03 S1](/bulletins/10253963.md), 2024-05-02, Service bulletin: EQUIPMENT. Certain 2017\-2020 Model Year Continental and Super Duty, 2018\-2020 Navigator, 2020 Aviator, and 2020 Explorer Vehicles Replace Front and/or Side Cameras if Foggy
- [TSB 24\-2106](/bulletins/10253891.md), 2024-05-02, Service bulletin: EQUIPMENT. Some 2022\-2023 Mustang convertible vehicles may exhibit a convertible top that requires extra effort to latch. This may be due to the convertible top assembly that is out of specification.
- [OTAPU0904PPOPRPF](/bulletins/10252707.md), 2024-04-04, Service bulletin: EQUIPMENT; ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. Quality Improvements include: \-Enhance the performance and stability of your driver display while towing.
- [OTAPU0121FTDIFXF](/bulletins/10252706.md), 2024-04-04, Service bulletin: EQUIPMENT; ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. Quality Improvements include: \-Robustness action in operation of vehicle to detect low\-state\-of\-charge battery and prevent engine stall, as well as provide improved warning to customers when low\-state\-of\-charge conditions exist. \-To prevent the potential incorrect On\-board scales.
- [OTAPU10246CHAUDF](/bulletins/10252699.md), 2024-04-04, Service bulletin: EQUIPMENT. Quality Improvements include: \- Fix the infrequent random audio noises issue and improve the audio quality of the vehicle.
- [OTAPU10246CHAUDL](/bulletins/10252698.md), 2024-04-04, Service bulletin: EQUIPMENT:ELECTRICAL:AUX AUDIO JACK/PLUG; EQUIPMENT. Quality Improvements include: \- Fix the infrequent random audio noises issue and improve the audio quality of the vehicle.
- [SSM 52373](/bulletins/10252636.md), 2024-04-04, Service bulletin: EQUIPMENT; VISIBILITY:DEFROSTER/DEFOGGER/HVAC SYSTEM. Some 2020\-2024 Aviator vehicles equipped with auto air refresh option \(minor feature code G1DAG\) may exhibit a buzzing/clicking/humming/ticking sound from the OHC and/or diagnostic trouble code \(DTC\) P24AE in the heating ventilation and air conditioning \(HVAC\) module. To confirm if a vehicle is built with a certain minor feature code, review the build information by double\-clicking the vehicle identification number \(VIN\) in the upper left corner in the Professional Technician System \(PTS\). If diagnostics lead to the in\-vehicle temperature and humidity sensor as the causal part, a new lower level part is available. It is not necessary to replace the OHC assembly if only the sensor is suspect. Use part number L1MZ\-19F666\-A to resolve the concern.
- [TSB 24\-2080](/bulletins/10252558.md), 2024-04-03, Service bulletin: STRUCTURE:BODY:ROOF AND PILLARS; STRUCTURE; EQUIPMENT. This article supersedes 23\-2024 to update parts list to include rivets. Some 2021\-2023 Bronco vehicles equipped with a factory soft top roof may exhibit a headliner that is detaching from the soft top material. This may be due to the factory installation process.
