Service bulletin TSB 22-2161
A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

| TSB 22-2433 | 2023-01-05. Service bulletin. This article supersedes TSB 22-2176 to increase the labor operation allowance and update the part list. Some 2020-2022 Escape/Corsair vehicles built on or before 3-Jan-2022, 2020-2022 Explorer vehicles built on or before 14-Feb-2022, 2020-2022 Aviator vehicles built on or before 07-Feb-2022 and 2021-2022 Bronco Sport vehicles built on or before 3-Dec-2021 may exhibit a slow fuel fill and/or spit back condition during refueling. This may be due to the design of the fuel tank filler pipe. To correct the condition, follow the Service Procedure to replace the fuel tank filler pipe. |

| SSM 50248 | 2021-12-07. Service bulletin. Some 2021 Corsair/Escape vehicles equipped with 2.0L or 2.3L engines and built on or after 04-Jan-2021 may exhibit a rattle/buzz noise on start-up/idle/slow speed from the back of the engine compartment area. This noise may be caused by fuel line heat shield contact with the fuel/brake lines at the rear engine compartment. The fuel line heat shield is located on the front dash cross member. Adjust from the bottom of the heat shield 10° forward or 15 mm (0.6 inches) clearance between the shield and the fuel/brake lines. |
| TSB 21-2020 | 2021-02-04. Service bulletin. Some 2020 Escape 2.0L EcoBoost, front wheel drive (FWD) vehicles built on or before 20-Mar-2020 may exhibit an illuminated malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) with diagnostic trouble code (DTC) P00FE, P0456, P0455 and a fuel gauge that never indicates full after a refueling event (only reads approximately 90%). This may be due to the calibration in the powertrain control module (PCM) being configured for an L-tank instead of a saddle tank. To correct the condition, follow the Service Procedure to reprogram the PCM. |
