Service Solution for Power Steering Cap Contact withHood Strap. Under certain conditions the drivers side hood restraint strap, which is attached to the radiatorand hood, may become lodged behind the power steering cap. When opening the hood, the hood restraint strap may pull on the power steering cap resulting in the cap coming off of the reservoir.
