Service bulletin SB54-355

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

NHTSA's summary

Freightliner Service Bulletin for Inoperative Heated Mirrors Low Content BHM Vehicles. Due to a shortage of electronic components, Business Class M2 and 108SD/114SD vehicles built from September 2021 were assembled using low content bulkhead modules (BHM). On these vehicles, the heated mirror control circuit is hardwired (non-multiplexed) instead of being controlled by the BHM (multiplexed).
