# Service bulletin SSM 50705

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

- Type: Service bulletin
- NHTSA id: 10210424
- Published by NHTSA: 2022\-04\-20
- Manufacturer's number: SSM 50705
- Manufacturer's date: 2022\-04\-15

## NHTSA's summary

Some 2021 Explorer vehicles may exhibit inoperative side marker turn signals. This may be due to incorrect data in the driver door module \(DDM\). To correct the condition, run the DDM and passenger door module \(PDM\) Configuration Application using the latest level of the Ford Diagnosis and Repair System \(FDRS\). For claiming, use causal part 14B291 and applicable labor times found in Section 10 of the Service Labor Time Standards \(SLTS\) Manual.
