## NHTSA's summary

Complaint Creaking noise from the upper area of the instrument panel when driving off\-road \(see Video 1\). This noise can also occur after conducting repair work on the refrigerant circuit. Cause A refrigerant line may be twisted when mounted in the engine compartment \(see Picture 1, orange line\) which can lead to the generation of a creaking noise on the air conditioner box. The noise may be heard in the interior on rough terrain or rough roads. Remedy Release and resecure refrigerant line as necessary.
