Service bulletin SSM 50410
A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

NHTSA's summary
Some 2022 Maverick vehicles built on or before 29-Nov-2021 may exhibit a radio intermittently not changing stations. This may be due to the software in the radio. To correct this condition, reprogram the audio front control module (ACM) using the latest software level of the Ford Diagnosis and Repair System (FDRS). For claiming, use causal part 18806 and applicable labor times from Section 10 of the Service Labor Time Standards (SLTS) Manual.

| SSM 50548 | 2022-03-08. Service bulletin. Some 2022 Maverick and 2020-2022 Escape vehicles equipped with a 2.5L full hybrid electric vehicle (FHEV) powertrain may exhibit an idle surge and/or rough idle with high temperature in the catalytic convertor and sulfur odor in the cab. This condition does not affect vehicle durability and no additional diagnosis or service is required for this condition at this time. Inform customers that they can continue to drive the vehicle and engineering is currently developing a software update that is expected in the last week of March 2022. Once the software update is available, contact the customer and schedule a follow-up appointment for repair. Monitor OASIS for updates. |
