## NHTSA's summary

Ford Motor Co. has informed IMT of stress points that could cause a crack in the frame rail behind the cab on certain MY 2017–2020 Ford F550 chassis. Because of the increased height due to Ford’s reinforcement, IMT has created a field retro installation kit, part number 51728356. Two \(2\) new front mounting brackets and hardware will be included in kit 51728356 which will solve the increased height issue.
