# Service bulletin SS3083\-FTL2021

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

## NHTSA's summary

Service Solution for Aero Height Control Interfering with RDF Alignment. The Aerodynamic Height Control feature on the New Cascadia is a feature that raises and lowers the air suspension with relation to vehicle speed in order to reduce drag and achieve better fuel efficiency. The Hadley Smart Valve \(HSV\) is the module that makes this possible by applying and exhausting air from the rear axle suspension as necessary.

Cascadia Rear Suspension Ride Height Update In an effort to clearly identify the AirLiner rear suspension ride height, and to align with future suspension offerings, the ride height data codes \(see module 621\) changed in SpecPro as of 3/11/21 for Cascadia models. This change does not affect the ride height of your spec, it clarifies the ride height within the data code. For example, if a customer uses a 40,000\# AirLiner suspension today with the 621\-007\(AirLiner High Position Ride Height\) that spec will be updated to use 621\-118 \(7.9" nominal ride height\).
