# Service bulletin TSB 21\-2405

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

- NHTSA id: 10203653
- Published by NHTSA: 2021\-12\-01
- Manufacturer's number: TSB 21\-2405

## NHTSA's summary

Some 2021 Mustang Mach\-E vehicles built on or before 09\-Sep\-2021 may exhibit an illuminated powertrain malfunction indicator \(wrench\) lamp and/or display the message Shift System Fault Service required with DTC U0103:87 stored in the secondary on board diagnostic module \(SOBDMC\). Some vehicles may also exhibit DTCs U0100:00, U0121, U0140, and/or U0155 stored in the gear shift module \(GSM\). This may be due to the software in the GSM. To correct the condition, follow the Service Procedure to reprogram the GSM.

- [TSB 23\-2399](/bulletins/10248358.md), 2024-01-05, Service bulletin: ELECTRICAL SYSTEM; POWER TRAIN:AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION:CONTROL MODULE \(TCM/PCM/TECM\). Some 2021\-2023 Mustang Mach\-E vehicles may exhibit a condition where the high voltage battery stops charging when connected to level 1 or level 2 chargers with an illuminated malfunction indicator lamp \(MIL\) and diagnostic trouble code \(DTC\) P2C94 stored in the secondary on\-board diagnostic control module A \(SOBDM\). This may be due to the software in the SOBDM. To correct this condition, follow the Service Procedure to reprogram the powertrain control module \(PCM\).
