## NHTSA's summary

A year ago when we modified Lund custom trailer models, we added weight to the trailers and neglected to account for this in the carrying capacity of the trailers. The GVWR did not change \{3740 lbs.\) but the carrying capacity of these trailers should have been de\-rated by up to 100 lbs. to account for the additional weight of the fenders.
