## NHTSA's summary

Cummins and Daimler Trucks North America \(Freightliner\) has decided that a defect relating to motor vehicle safety exists in specific motorhomes built on Freightliner chassis \(Cummins NHTSA \#21E 063\), \(Freightliner NHTSA \# 21V 556\). In response, Newmar Corporation is issuing recall NHTSA \# 21V 642. On certain motorhomes, as described in Cummins recall 21E\-063, a fuel leak may occur in the fuel hoses between the fuel pump and the remote fuel filter head. A fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source may increase the risk of fire.
