181892018-08-20. Service bulletin. 18189 - Customer Satisfaction Program. Certain 2018 model year Chevrolet Express and GMC Savana vehicles, may have a condition in which the chassis harness is misrouted between the body and the frame. Systems such as the side blind zone alert or park assist system may become inoperable if the wires were to become damaged. If this damage were to occur, the driver would be notified via a Driver Information Center (DIC) message stating ?Service Side Detection? or ?Service Park Assist?. Reroute the chassis harness to inside of the frame.
181582018-08-20. Service bulletin. 18158 - Service Update. Certain vehicles may exhibit a condition where the Service Side Detection (SSD) message is displayed on the Driver Information Center (DIC) screen. This message is displayed in the DIC and does not reset until the vehicle has gone through an ignition sleep cycle. When the SSD message is displayed, the Side Blind Zone Alert (SBZA) system is not functional. Dealers are to update the side blind zone alert module with a new calibration file.
