# Service bulletin SSM 50003

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

## NHTSA's summary

Some 2021 Bronco vehicles may exhibit a creak/pop type noise when any of the side doors are opened and closed. This may be due to incorrect door installation, alignment and/or incorrect tightening of the two bolts which hold the door to the vehicle body. To correct this condition, inspect for and address any damage to the door and/or latch components, then remove and reinstall the suspect door following the instructions located in the Digital Owners Manual, Removable Vehicle Components \> Removable Doors \> Removing and Installing the Doors. In this section you ll also find a detailed tutorial video of the process. If the noise persists, perform the Front/Rear Door Alignment procedure located in the Workshop Manual \(WSM\), Section 501\-03 Body Closures.

## Other bulletins for the same vehicles and component

- [TSB 26\-2380](/bulletins/11037537.md), 2026-09-29, Service bulletin: SUSPENSION; ELECTRICAL SYSTEM; STRUCTURE:BODY; UNKNOWN OR OTHER. This article supersedes TSB 25\-2575 to update the Parts list to add the applicable body wiring harnesses and underbody shield bolts. Some vehicles listed in the Model statement above may exhibit a "Sta\-bar Disconnect Service Required" message in the instrument panel cluster \(IPC\) with any of the following diagnostic trouble codes \(DTCs\) stored in the chassis control module \(CHCM\): C103A, C1A99, C1B03, C1B07, C1B14 and/or B1A67. This may be due to water intrusion in the stabilizer bar wiring harness connector.
- [SSM 55009](/bulletins/11035101.md), 2026-07-20, Service bulletin: ELECTRICAL SYSTEM; STRUCTURE:BODY. Some 2021\-2026 Bronco vehicles may exhibit a "Park Brake Limited Function Service Required" message in the instrument panel cluster \(IPC\). This may be due to an issue with the driver door harness connector after removing and installing the removeable doors. If diagnostic trouble code \(DTC\) B1625:29 is stored in the driver door module \(DDM\), inspect connector C322C between the upper and lower door hinges that attaches to the body for proper installation and/or pin fitment. Repair as necessary. If the condition was caused by improper door installation, do not submit a claim for this condition. If no concerns are found with the connector, refer to Workshop Manual \(WSM\), Section 501\-11 \> Diagnosis and Testing for normal diagnostics.
- [TSB 26\-2298](/bulletins/11034123.md), 2026-06-29, Service bulletin: VISIBILITY/WIPER; STRUCTURE:BODY; UNKNOWN OR OTHER. This article supersedes 25\-2551. Reason for update: to correct the descriptions for the liftgate glass weather seals. Some of the vehicles listed in the model statement above may exhibit paint wearing along on the top inner edge of the tailgate where the rear window weather strip contacts the tailgate. This may be due to the accumulation of dirt between the rear window seal and tailgate.
- [SSM 54601](/bulletins/11029052.md), 2026-02-27, Service bulletin: ELECTRICAL SYSTEM; STRUCTURE:BODY; UNKNOWN OR OTHER. Ford and Lincoln vehicles equipped with wired keyless entry keypad systems and accessory wireless keyless entry keypad systems may or may not come with a wallet card containing the master code. Unlike the integrated wired keypad, the accessory wireless keypad master code cannot be retrieved from the vehicle using a diagnostic scan tool or from the label printed on the body control module \(BCM\). The Factory Keyless Entry Code application within the diagnostic scan tool will not provide an applicable master code for the accessory wireless keypad. If the wallet card for an accessory keypad is not available, the "Wireless RF Keypad Diagnosis Guide" can be referenced and provides direction on how to retrieve the master code. This guide is located under the Workshop Manual tab \> Accessories \> Installation \> Wireless RF Keypad Diagnosis Guide \> PPT C \> Step C2.\<br /\>\<br /\> Note: The only available keypad for some vehicles from the assembly plant is the accessory wireless keyless entry keypad. The integrated wired keypad cannot be installed on vehicles not equipped from the factory with a wired keyless entry k
- [TSB 25\-2551](/bulletins/11025827.md), 2025-12-01, Service bulletin: STRUCTURE:BODY. Some of the vehicles listed in the model statement above may exhibit paint wearing along on the top inner edge of the tailgate where the rear window weather strip contacts the tailgate. This may be due to the accumulation of dirt between the rear window seal and tailgate.
- [TSB 25\-2453](/bulletins/11023548.md), 2025-10-02, Service bulletin: STRUCTURE:BODY; UNKNOWN OR OTHER. This article supersedes TSB 24\-2269 to add 2025 model year vehicles. Some of the vehicles listed in the Model statement above may exhibit the driver or passenger side upper rail front trim panel with a warped or misaligned appearance.
- [TSB 25\-2439](/bulletins/11023299.md), 2025-09-23, Service bulletin: STRUCTURE:BODY. This article supersedes TSB 23\-2229 to update the labor times from M\-time to M\-Time with a limit. Some of the vehicles listed in the Model Statement may exhibit soft top exterior wear on the sides of the soft top material above the B\-pillar. This may be due to contact and rubbing between the soft top frame and soft top material.
- [TSB 25\-2433](/bulletins/11023297.md), 2025-09-23, Service bulletin: STRUCTURE:BODY. S\+A42:H67me of the vehicles listed in the Model statement above may exhibit the hard top center panel's quarter turn latches come loose while driving.
- [SSM 53981](/bulletins/11020052.md), 2025-07-02, Service bulletin: VISIBILITY/WIPER; STRUCTURE:BODY. Some 2021\-2024 Bronco vehicles may exhibit a rattle from the front windows with the windows placed in the partially down position and driving over rough roads and/or bumps. This may be due to the interface between the window glass and the body mounted glass run. To correct this condition, replace the body mounted glass runs using the body mounted glass run kit \(3 door: M2DZ\-9821597\-E, and 5 door: M2DZ\-7821597\-F\) which contains updated seals for improved sealing performance. For claiming, use causal part 9821597/7821597 and labor operations 23943A and 23943A19 in Section 12 of the Service Labor Time Standards \(SLTS\) Manual.
- [SSM 53962](/bulletins/11019701.md), 2025-06-24, Service bulletin: STRUCTURE:BODY; VISIBILITY/WIPER. Some 2021\-2025 Bronco vehicles may exhibit a water leak from the A\-pillar, overhead console/upfitter switches and/or sun visors. If a leak is identified from this area, refer to Workshop Manual \(WSM\), Section 501\-18 Pinpoint Test \(PPT\) G for water leak diagnosis. If the PPT leads to the replacement of the header seal, a revised header seal has been released for service \(M2DZ\-7803110\-H\) which contains a thicker consistent bead of butyl across the entire length of the seal. The header seal will need to be firmly depressed and massaged to make sure all of the butyl that is across the entire header seal will properly adhere to the body, creating a water\-tight seal. For claiming, use causal part 7803110 and labor operation 03110A in Section 12 of the Service Labor Time Standards \(SLTS\) Manual.
