NHTSA's summary
Blue iQ® Fault Code 6947 Diagnostic Procedure. Fault Code 6947 is a common interface fault triggered when the Blue iQ® Fuel System Control Module (FSCM) does not receive engine data at the normal update rate. The presence of Fault Code 6947 stems from an error in CAN communication between the OEM vehicle ECU and is not indicative of a Hexagon Agility® fuel system issue. User should consult vehicle OEM and Cummins® repair literature for additional information.
