Service bulletin FSB 233 006 Mack

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

NHTSA's summary

Engine fuel filters (part number 21380521) with week number date codes ?15_33? (August 10, 2015) through ?15_39? (September 27, 2015) should not be installed on an engine without first being inspected. The week number date code is marked on the outside of the filter, the number on top is the year and the number below identifies the week. Due to a manufacturing issue, fuel does not flow through the filter which results in a no-start/run condition immediately after installation.
