Drive or R ? Reverse if the engine idle speed is above 2000 rpm \(automatic models only\). \- An increase in the brake pedal effort required to slow or stop the vehicle \(automatic models only\). The revised diagnostic strategy for this issue is now more robust, ensuring that potential issues are more promptly detected, hence reducing the risk of the driveability issues described above from occurring.
