Service bulletin TSB 21-2189
A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

| SSM 51727 | 2023-06-21. Service bulletin. Some 2021-2023 Mustang Mach-E vehicles built on or before 21-Apr-2023 may exhibit a false alarm activation and/or warning message in the FordPass application when the doors are locked. This may be due to the software in the door latch control module E (DCME), door latch control module F (DCMF), door latch control module G (DCMG) and/or door latch control module H (DCMH). To correct the condition, download and run the door control module software update application for each module one at a time using the Ford Diagnosis and Repair System (FDRS). For claiming, use causal part 58219A65 and applicable labor times in Section 10 of the Service Labor Time Standards (SLTS) Manual. |

| SSM 49672 | 2021-03-31. Service bulletin. Some 2021 Mustang Mach-E vehicles may exhibit a concern where the front luggage compartment hood is hard to close. As the hood is closed, air becomes trapped in the front luggage compartment, increasing the closing effort. To properly close the hood, apply closing force as the hood is lowered. Then verify the hood is fully closed. Allowing the hood to close on its own weight may not be enough effort to properly latch the front luggage compartment hood. No additional adjustments are required for the hood / latch. |
