## NHTSA's summary

Field Update Notice \#74B255 Detkroit Diesel Field Action 14M1 \- Pierce has been notified by Detroit Diesel Corp that they determined that some certified GHG14 DD platform engines will require replacement of the DEF Pump Main Filter and DEF Dosing Unit inlet Screen. The DEF Pump Main Filter may not be seated properly in the DEF Pump. Unseated filters lead to blockage of the DEF Dosing Unit Inlet Screen with debris, and resulting fault codes may cause customer dissatisfaction.
