## NHTSA's summary

SERVICE BULLETIN M1528: PAN AMERICA \- TRANSPORT MODE SUBSTITUTE. PURPOSE: This bulletin informs dealers that on Pan America™ vehicles the transport mode procedure will not fully place the bike in transport mode and the battery can still be drained. While the bike will appear to be in transport mode the Controller Area Network \(CAN\) bus remains awake and will draw down the battery.
