Service bulletin BPaS05102021903
A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

NHTSA's summary
Dealer Message - As sales volume of the redesigned 2022 MDX picks up, we are receiving feedback that some dealers are finding the Lower Rear Engine Cover cracked at TQI. Your assistance is crucial to ensure that the engineering team investigating this issue receives parts to study; the earlier we can get these parts into their hands, the quicker we can resolve this quality issue. Please inspect the Lower Rear Engine Cover of all MDX vehicles arriving at your dealership, as well as any vehicles currently in your new inventory. If you find a cracked cover, replace it (Part #74114-TYA-A00) and promptly file a warranty claim using labor operation #8131M1. Please also quickly return the part if you receive a call-in request for it.
