## NHTSA's summary

All Freightliner models specifying and built with the Fifth wheel air actuated king pin release valve data code 579\-008. Field reports on newly delivered vehicles that the air actuated king pin release valve mounting screws were found loose or in some cases missing. A missing mounting screw could result in the release knob jamming between the dash and valve body holding the valve in an open position.
