## NHTSA's summary

SERVICE INFORMATION Nissan is issuing this Technical Service Bulletin to clarify that a change has been made for the logic that controls the Occupant Classification System \(OCS\) and 'passenger airbag indicator' \(PABI\), as described in the Owner?s Manual. This TSB applies only to vehicles using the 2\-sensor OCS. Those changes are: \* PABI light is ON with an empty front passenger seat. Please see this bulletin for further details.

The software updates in this bulletin are to address stability improvements and “bug” fixes. IMPORTANT: If the customer is experiencing a software related concern, refer to NTB21\-038 to verify if the customer concern is a hardware or software related issue. If the concern is a software related issue, review the information in this bulletin to update the AV Control Unit as needed.
