Service bulletin PC789 2021 Altim
A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

The 2021 Model Year Altima is now rated for Rear Center Seat Latch usage, which was not included in the Owner’s Manual. What Dealers Should Do: 1.Verify if new vehicles in their inventory are affected by this Voluntary Service Campaign using Service Comm or DBS National Service History – Open Campaigns I.D. PC789. •New vehicles in dealer inventory can also be identified using DBS (Sales-> Vehicle Inventory, and filter by Open Campaign). •Refer to NPSB 15-460 for additional information •SERVICE COMM will only be active for vehicles in new vehicle dealer inventory. 2.If a dealer receives a supplemental Owner’s Manual addendum booklet for a vehicle they have retailed, currently have in their new vehicle or pre-owned inventory, or a Nissan Rental Car (NRC), the dealer should either forward the owner’s manual addendum to the current owner or add the addendum to the glove box of any affected vehicle they currently control. 3.Customers receiving this addendum booklet have been advised to insert this booklet into their glove box.
