## NHTSA's summary

The Goodyear Tire \& Rubber Company is aware that certain G152 and G652 Metro Miler tires in the B305/70R22.5 size manufactured week 2715 through week 5219 \(the subject tires\) have experienced lower sidewall cracking. We have not had any reports of vehicle controllability issues or accidents. We have decided to conduct this proactive Customer Satisfaction campaign to exchange subject tires. This letter will be mailed to all dealers whom our records indicate may have purchased one or more of the subject tires. We ask that the dealers contact any customers or dealers who may have purchased one or more of these tires from them to ask for the tires to be returned for inspection and replacement. In addition, we request that dealers check any tires remaining in their inventory to determine if they are part of the campaign, and if so, returned to Goodyear.
