ENGINE IMMOBILIZED and/or SECURITY SYSTEM CONTROLLER IN LEARN MODE Message Displayed, DTC B3031 00 Set Condition/Concern Some customers may comment that the ENGINE IMMOBILIZED and/or SECURITY SYSTEM CONTROLLER IN LEARN MODE message is displayed. Upon investigation the Technician may observe on a scan tool DTC B3031 00: Security System Controller In Learn Mode set. This may be caused by the improper installation of an aftermarket Secure\-Idle ignition switch bypass device designed to provide all of the electrical functions that the OEM ignition switch normally provides
