# Service bulletin 17\-NA\-293

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

## NHTSA's summary

Rear Air Conditioning Inoperative, Blowing Warm Air Condition Some customers may comment that the 2nd row / rear HVAC blows warm air when air conditioning is commanded Cause \- This condition may be caused by the auxiliary temperature valve, internal to the A/C distributor case, being fractured. Note: The technician may find the pivot for the temperature valve has pulled away from the actuator motor \(2\). Verify if the temperature valve is working properly: • If it has been validated that the rear A/C does blow warm, replace the A/C distributor case. • If the temperature valve has been found to be working correctly, refer to SI for further diagnostics.
