## NHTSA's summary

Laydon Composites developed two air deflectors for the COE and Conventional cabs. Design was in conjunction with Hino USA and Hino Canada. This designs reduce aerodynamic drag and improves fuel economy. Hino Japan had the final say on 3 different shapes that were designed using Computational Fluid Dynamics \(CFD\) electing to chose the most fuel efficient.
