This is a representative communication from the Cummins producing plant to affected vehicle manfacturers regarding a potential issue with incorrect flywheel capscrew torques on certain X15 engines. The engine plant pursued corrective action with affected OEMs at their facitilies. This communication requests permission to inspect and repair suspect flywheel capscrew torques at the vehicle manufacturer's site. Cummins filed a Defect Notification regarding this issue on 4Feb2021 \(Recall 21E\-009\).
