Service bulletin TT-16-011

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

NHTSA's summary

Suspension - Leveling valve driveline vibration - 2017 and earlier Conventional Trucks equipped with a Hendrickson air suspension system. The vehicle may exhibit an intermittent driveline noise or vibration. The driver may report the condition to be more noticeable over r ough roads or after changes in the loading of the vehicle. Restriction of the leveling valve (P/N S40G0E0080) on the air suspension may be preventing the valve from venting properly. This would result in incorrect rear suspension ride height and incorrect pinion angle.
