## NHTSA's summary

ECU Diesel Particulate Reduction \(DPR\) Enhancement DPR Clogging may occur due to an increase in the amount of soot in the exhaust gas as a result of engine component degradation. In order to reduce the soot in the exhaust gas during this situation, even when the engine components are degraded, enhanced ECU software is available.
