Service bulletin 11-004-20
A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

P0615-64 - Starter Control Circuit Signal Plausibility Failure. In addition, the customer may notice one or more of the following conditions: ? **A difference in the set cruise control speed and actual speed on the odometer (i.e. driver sets 100 kph (62 mph), vehicle will hit a max of 95 kph (59 mph) and cruise at 95 kph (59 mph)) (Sales Code ED6 Only).** ? Long engine cranking prior to vehicle start, more noticeable when the outside temperature is above 40 °c (104 °f) (EE with Sales Code ED6 Only). ? Vehicle will intermittently not start (South Korea Only). ? Poor fuel economy. ? Slight engine pinging noise while accelerating and poor performance. ? The engine oil dipstick may indicate a low oil level, however the low oil pressure warning indicator does not illuminate in the Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC). ? No crank condition while pushing the start button numerous times, if the vehicle is turned off completely and then restarted, it will start normally. ? Cruise control and adaptive cruise control are inoperable. ? A ?Service Speed Limiter? message in the IPC and Active Vehicle Speed Limiter (AVSL) will be inoperable. NOTE: There will be no stored or active DTCs with this IPC message. This bulletin involves reprogramming the PCM with the latest available software. |
