Indian Motorcycle has determined that 111 c.i. engine connecting rods, when used in conjunction with the Thunder Stroke 116 c. i. Stage 3 Big Bore accessory pistons, may exhibit durability concerns under certain operating conditions. Motorcycles equipped with the accessory Thunder Stroke 116 c. i. Stage 3 Big Bore Kit, and utilizing aftermarket tuners/controllers, or other performance modifications are more susceptible to these durability concerns.
