## NHTSA's summary

Mercedes\-Benz AG \("MBAG"\), the manufacturer of Mercedes\-Benz, has determined that the active engine mounts in certain C\-Class \(model series 205\), E\-Class \(model series 213\), GLC \(model series 253\), and AMG GT \(model series 290\) vehicles cannot be energized after a failure of the acceleration sensors. As a result, noises from the rear axle differential would be noticeable. This is why a software update of the AMG drive unit control unit must be performed in the affected vehicles. The work required for this purpose can be found in the attached work description.
