Service bulletin SB1747

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

NHTSA's summary

Field Change Program: It has come to the attention of Van Hool that the fire suppression system, when activated while driving, shuts down the engine after 15 seconds. As a result of this, the door brake is automatically applied. To prevent this from happening while driving, it is necessary to load the newest version of the multiplex program. The newest version of multiplex program 11248798 is available through the Van Hool customer portal under the "Software" section.
