"Technician news letter \- REVERSE ISSUES \(GL1800 \- M/T\) If you verify a customer complaint of a GL1800 with manual transmission not going into reverse or grinding when engaging reverse, the issue is usually caused by improper reverse actuator cable adjustment or lack of lubrication of the reverse shift arm.
