This bulletin provides instructions related to an Electronic Control Module (ECM) software update to revise the fuel injection control logic. The update is for the applicable model listed below with SULEV emissions certification only. A Campaign Sticker must be applied to all vehicles and an Emission Recall Proof of correction card completed in certain States as mentioned below in Parts Information Table. Please see page-4.

Hyundai is conducting a Service Campaign to inspect the existing charcoal canister for loose charcoal, and if confirmed a new auxiliary canister kit will be installed. The affected vehicles include: • All 2010-2015 Tucson (LM) 2.4L Engine with ULEV emissions.
20-01-012H2020-04-07. Service bulletin. This bulletin provides the procedure to inspect the evaporative system’s existing canister for loose charcoal, and if confirmed the new Auxiliary Canister Kit of this bulletin will be installed to improve evaporative system performance. The existing canister will not be replaced.
19-FL-001H2019-03-18. Service bulletin. In a gasoline direct injection (GDI) engine, highly pressurized gasoline is injected via a common rail fuel line and injectors that deliver fuel directly into the combustion chamber of each cylinder. In comparison, in a conventional multi-point fuel injection (MPI) engine, relatively low pressure gasoline is injected into the intake port of each cylinder. Due to high fuel pressures in a GDI system, servicing the GDI system requires special attention and handling procedures. This bulletin provides special service information and specification for the GDI fuel system components.
