This Technical Service Bulletin describes the verification and resolution of customers is experiencing unusual noise characteristics from the lubricating oil pump. A buzzing noise from the front of the lubricating oil pan is usually present at idle with cold lubricating oil but can also be present at higher engine rpm and at warmer lubricating oil temperatures in some cases.
