Service bulletin TSB200024-021020

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

This Technical Service Bulletin describes the verification and resolution of early life turbocharger failures after a new service turbocharger has been installed, the vehicle is moved outside and put into a DPF regeneration state. During, or after the DPF regeneration, turbocharger related fault code(s) come active. Troubleshooting the fault codes finds that the turbocharger sector gear is seized.
