Certain C15 and C18 Engines May Experience External Oil Leaks at the Cylinder Head to Cylinder Block Joint. The cylinder head to cylinder block vertical motion pumps out oil collecting on the top surface of the cylinder block between the drain and shim gasket sealing features. This publication is a Technical Information Bulletin describing a process to disassemble, inspect and install a new head gasket. Similar publication, CPI459966, was submitted in in Jan 2020 but the C-18 has since been added as an applicable product model.
