Service bulletin C2128

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

NHTSA's summary

Certain B6.7 CM2350 B121B engines were shipped without a fuel heater; a plug was installed in place of a fuel heater. This Campaign authorizes certified repair locations to install a fuel heater in place of the plug, change the fuel heater wiring harness polarity by switching wiring terminal locations within the fuel heater connector, and to replace or install a new fuse in the fuel heater circuit. This field action is a commercial (non-safety) action to properly re-enable the fuel heater functionality that was removed to correct a recall condition as described in the recall report for NHTSA recall 19E-020.
