Service bulletin T2084D

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

NHTSA's summary

This Temporary Repair Practice authorizes certified repair locations to upfit certain ISB and ISL CM2350 engines with an improved Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) Catalyst. MY2013 thru MY2014 engines that qualify, a new wiring harness and calibration update is required. The engine must show open for this field action, experience a complaint or symptom in which troubleshooting results in the replacement of the SCR, and the SCR part number must match the Affected Part Number list. This is an update to a previously submitted communication.
