Service bulletin SB1735

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

NHTSA's summary

Introduction of new hose splicers for coolant circuits. Van Hool has released new hose splicers. Instead of the previous plastic ones, the new are made of metal. For that reason, the new ones are better suited to resist the higher coolant temperatures on current vehicles. As the new ones also can be used on older vehicles, only the metal ones will be made available as replacement. All Van Hool vehicles are affected by this Product Improvement.
