NHTSA's summary
This Account Team Coverage is being issued to address life cylinder liner O-ring failures (PN 3696801) in certain X12 CM2350 X119B engines. Normal temperature at the liner may result in liner O-ring deterioration causing an external coolant leak. This field action provides authorization for certified repair locations to replace the cylinder liner O-rings with new O-rings that have increased temperature capability and margin for potential longer-term durability.
