# Service bulletin TIFF\-111419\-001

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

## NHTSA's summary

On certain 2019 and 2020 Allegro Buses, there is a possibility that the tile floor in the rear area of the motor home may become warm after driving for an extended period of time due to engine compartment heat leaking past insulation of the floor. It is not a fire hazard because the temperature does not get high enough, nor is there anything that could ignite surrounding the engine. However, some have complained about the tile being uncomfortable to walk on barefoot, some complained about the fact it heats up the room and a/c has hard time cooling room down. It is noticeable more in the summer than in the winter. Tiffin has developed a fix for this issue that will install additional heat shielding between the engine area of the motor homes and the tile floor.
